Maintenance of Way Repair Facility J-Track’s work on this $10 million project for the Long Island Railroad began in 2008. The project involves the construction of two new pre-engineered structures, necessary for the expansion of an operational Maintenance of Way facility. The work includes embedded and ballasted track work, electrical, plumbing, sprinkler, mechanical, and interior finish work, contaminated soil remediation, and the construction of drainage structures and helical pile concrete foundations.
