June 2011: AGC of New Jersey Hails J-Track's Safety Record
The Associated General Contractors of New Jersey will be honoring J-Track for its outstanding safety record at the AGC membership meeting and awards luncheon on June 29. The award recognizes J-Track for its impressive lost workday incidence rate, which is lower than the national average. The AGC now joins the NRC and other prestigious organizations in commending J-Track for its dedication and commitment to safety. J-Track’s President Mitch Levine notes that “even as J-Track continues to rapidly grow and expand, we remain deeply committed to our core principles of safety and quality, delivering projects on time and under budget, and exceeding the expectations of our clients.”

December 2010: J-Track Remains the Gold Standard for Safety
For three years in a row, J-Track received the coveted Gold Award in the “NRC / RT&S / Commercial Insurance Associates Safe Railroad Contractor of the Year Contest.” The National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association (NRC) noted that a near record 45 companies participated in this year's contest. In announcing the awards, the NRC stated that "these companies represent the very best of the NRC and the entire railroad construction and maintenance industry". The NRC noted that the overall quality of submissions is rising, which underscores J-Track's accomplishments.

January 2010: J-Track Establishes New England Division
J-Track continues to expand rapidly, with a newly-formed division in New England, spearheaded by industry veteran Peter W. Wright. He brings four decades of progressively responsible experience in the railroad industry to our firm. Wright’s most recent work experience was at Amtrak, where he was an Assistant Division Engineer, overseeing six track supervisors and 70 union employees. He managed and coordinated maintenance of 70 route miles, approximately 200 miles of mainline track. He developed and implemented an annual track program and led crisis response. Prior to Amtrak, Peter served for nearly two decades as the Assistant Chief Engineer of Track at MBCR. Wright is a member of AREMA and TranRiders NorthEast, and a track columnist.

May 2009: J-Track Makes History
In May 2009 J-Track made history by becoming the first of the Judlau Companies to work outside of New York State. The company has entered the New Jersey market, and also started a new drilling division, which includes caisson and rock drilling, mini, helical, low headroom and auger cast pile installation. J-Track has added a Mait HR 130, 55 feet mast drill rig to their fleet. In New Jersey, J-Track has started work drilling 5 to 8 foot diameter holes for a cell phone tower, and commenced work on new bridges over Route 1 and Route 3. (See photo).
According to J-Track’s President, Mitch Levine, “The drilling and pile business is a niche market, which we believe offers tremendous potential and opportunity.” J-Track is realizing its vision of strategically expanding in new markets in the North East.
